Bed Size Guide - Standard UK Sizes
All our beds are made to standard UK bed & mattress sizes, so you won’t have any problems with non-standard sizes, as some stores do.
The standard UK bed sizes we sell measure:

Single Beds
If you are looking for a bed for one person, then our single beds could be the perfect size for you. Ideal for one sleeper, they provide ample space for comfortable sleeping for a single person. Ideal for a small bedroom, box room, summer house or childrens bed.

Small Double Beds
With more space than a single, small double beds can sleep two people if space is limited and if you’re comfortable sleeping closer together. Sometimes known as a ‘three quarter bed’ as they are three quarters of the way to a double bed size. For a single sleeper, they can be more roomy and comfortable than a single, and are a great choice for teenagers who want an upgrade from their single bed.

Double Beds
One of the most common beds we sell, a double bed comfortably sleeps two people and is ideal for many master bedrooms and homes across the UK. With a great amount of sleeping space, they can feel luxurious for one, and perfectly snug for two.

King Size Beds
Our King Size beds are very popular for couples looking to upgrade their sleeping space from a double to something a bit more spacious and luxurious. With extra height in the bed size, they are great for taller people or those with a larger build, to enjoy the extra space and comfort that a king size bed offers.
Our king size beds measure (W x L): 5ft x 6ft 6in / 150cm x 200cm.

Super King Size Beds
Our range of Super King Size beds offer the absolute ultimate in sumptuous space, comfort and pure luxury. With an extra foot of width over a king, they offer room to spare for two sleepers and an immense amount of space for one! If you have the room space to allow for a superking, we highly recommend it as it will transform your sleeping space, bringing luxury and opulence straight into your bedroom.

Divan Bed Size Guide
Our range of Divan beds offer amazing under-bed storage with optional drawers, with 2, or 4 drawers that can be added into the bed on the product page.
Our Drawers come as one size (L) 51cm, (W) 72cm, (D) 16cm.
The sizes of our Divan Bed range is in line with those above for Width (W) and Length (L).
For Depth (D), all of our Divan beds are 35.5cm in depth, that is the measurement from the floor up to the base of the mattress.
The final depth of the total bed will depend upon the depth of your mattress. Typically memory foam mattresses are shallower than pocket sprung mattresses, but this isn’t always the case.
Ottoman Bed Size Guide
Our range of Ottoman beds offer exceptional under-bed storage with side or end opening bed base, easy to lift up using the gas assisted lift to access the storage area hidden within the bed base.
The sizes of our Ottoman Bed range is in line with those above for Width (W) and Length (L).
For Height (H), all of our Ottoman beds are 38cm in height, that is the measurement from the floor up to the base of the mattress.
The final depth of the total bed will depend upon the depth of your mattress. Typically memory foam mattresses are shallower than pocket sprung mattresses, but this isn’t always the case.
Headboard Size Guide
If you are opting for one of our beds with a headboard included, then there are some measurements for this to account for, to ensure it will fit into your bedroom space.
Our headboards are also available to buy on their own, and frame any bed beautifully, adding a touch of luxury and class in a range of stylish designs and patterns.
Our headboards come in two different types:
Strut Headboard - These attach directly to the bed base with two long, wooden struts that fix directly to the base behind the end of the bed. They are lighter and smaller than floor standing headboards.
Floor Standing Headboard - As the name suggests, these sit on the base of the floor behind your bed and frame the end of your bed. They are typically much larger than strut headboards.
Our strut headboards are 26" in height (66cm) when fitted. These are much shorter than a floor standing as the headboard part is only present above the bed frame, and does not reach down to the floor. the 26" refers to the visible headboard height above the base. This not include the strut leg height.
Our Floor standing headboards are 54" height (137cm) when fitted. These headboards are much taller and are supported by their own weight. They do still require fixing to the base and use the same M8 Bolt fixing.
