Here at Sloomy we always put customers first, with many flexible payment options available. We work with most major payment providers to ensure your purchase is stress free and straightforward.

The payment options that we have available are:

  • Debit & Credit Card (Stripe) : An easy way to pay for your purchases online. Have peace of mind when using Stripe through their protective payment services with leading card providers including Visa and Mastercard.
  • Apple Pay : Paying from your Apple device has never been easier. You’re just one click away from your dream bedroom makeover.
  • Google Pay : Paying from your Android device or desktop is now a simple process. Login and enjoy hassle free shopping.
  • Cash on Delivery : Pay by cash on delivery of your order to your delivery address. Our delivery drivers will take cash payment from you in full before unloading your order.
  • Paypal : Simply login or sign up to Paypal and enjoy a secure shopping experience.

Cash on Delivery

We offer a simple cash payment on delivery of your order for customers who prefer this method. Simply select ‘Pay by Cash on Delivery’ on the payment page to select this option. 

We will contact you with a follow-up phone call to confirm your order and cash payment selection before we begin making your items in our factory. Then 1-2 days prior to delivery we will phone again to confirm the delivery time and remind the customer it is cash on delivery.

On delivery, if you are not able to pay in full for your order then we are able to offer a bank transfer as a payment option. However, it is preferable if the customer is to have the full cash amount ready at point of delivery.

Sloomy Ltd reserves the right to ask for an initial deposit or certain bed configurations.

Once the payment has been received and validated by our drivers. The transaction is then complete and the items that have been delivered are now the customers. 

0% Finance Options

Some purchases can be costly and with how many options there are available you may end up changing your mind. Enjoy hassle free “buy now pay later” shopping with our different payment plans from our partners at both Klarna and Clearpay.

How does Klarna work?

Klarna is a simple to use finance provider that has 2 different payment plans available to its users.

  • Pay in 30 days after initial purchase

    You are able to opt for their first option which allows you to buy now then pay later within 30 days. This is with no extra interest, as long as the payment is made within the 30 day interval. If you are unable to make the payment, Klarna does offer an extension date, be sure to inform them directly though on this via their mobile app or website.

  • Pay in 3 monthly instalments

    Alternatively you can pay for your Sloomy order in 3 instalments. They come out on a monthly basis and are done so automatically. This is the best and safest way to spread out the cost of your purchase. Be sure to make the payments on time or you may incur any extra charges.

Setting up your Klarna account

It is a short process to sign up to Klarna. Either do so on their official website or download their app from your device’s app store to get started.

To sign up there are some easy rules to doing so:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a U.K address
  • You must have a U.K bank account
  • Be in full time employment
  • Be a U.K resident

How does Clearpay work?

Clearpay is another 0% finance option provider that is available for online shoppers. After your order is processed, paying back the cost is split up into 4 payments that are payable every 2 weeks. First payment is taken on the day of your order.

You are able to shop with Clearpay’s payment options, spreading out the cost of your purchase when shopping for your bedroom at Sloomy.

Setting up your Clearpay account

Returning Clearpay users can simply login into their Clearpay account at checkout to enjoy 0% interest shopping.

If you don’t have an account set up, there are some terms and conditions to be aware of before doing so. Be sure to always use their official website and/or mobile app available on your device’s app store.

When signing up have the following in mind:

  • Your contact information
  • Your bank/credit card details
  • Can I make the payments back on time to avoid added interest?
  • Am I 18 years of age or older

If your payments are late without letting Clearpay know, you are charged an initial £6 late, with a further £6 being added after a 7 day period if not successfully paid.

Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £36 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24.

Please note that late payments through Clearpay may make you ineligible to use their finance options in the future. Unpaid debt may be passed onto a 3rd party debt collection agency.

My experience with Sloomy has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The bed ordered via Debenhams for my vulnerable mother-in-law, who suffers from COPD and has limited mobility following a stroke, failed to arrive on the scheduled delivery date with no communication, update, or explanation. We had spent the day preparing for the delivery, including removing her existing bed, only to be left without any bed at all when the delivery failed to turn up. As a result, she was forced to spend the night sleeping on a sofa, causing significant discomfort and distress given her medical conditions. Despite the seriousness of the situation, there was little acknowledgment of the impact this had. When the bed finally arrived the following day, we discovered that the headboard could not be assembled because the required fittings were either missing or defective. What should have been a straightforward resolution turned into a frustrating and prolonged process. Attempts to obtain support have been met with slow responses, with Debenhams and sloomy passignbuck between each other, repeated requests for the same information, and a complete lack of ownership of the issue. We have been repeatedly asked to wait for escalations that never seem to happen, provide photographs multiple times, and start the process over with different agents who appear unaware of previous correspondence. Most concerning has been the apparent lack of urgency despite it being made clear that the customer affected is vulnerable. The combination of a missed delivery, poor communication, an incomplete product, lengthy delays in customer service responses, and failure to resolve the problem promptly has left us with very little confidence in Sloomy's customer care. Overall, this experience has been stressful, frustrating, and wholly unacceptable. I would not expect a vulnerable customer to be treated in this manner, and I hope significant improvements are made to both delivery reliability and after-sales support.

I ordered my sons bed to arrive two days before his birthday, I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text message to say it would actually arrive 6 days before his birthday, delivery was scheduled between 6am and 11am. On the delivery day I was at work and by 2.30pm I received a message saying the delivery van had broken down and they would contact me with an alternative date. Now I can understand that these things happen, what I do not understand and was infuriating was that I must have rang the landline number 20 times and the mobile number used to text me the same amount of times and that no one pciked up or answered the phone. The landline number just rang 5 times and then went dead. The service was shocking and being in limbo worrying if my son would get his bed before his birthday was frustrating. I did eventually get my bed at 6.35am on a bank holiday Monday morning!! I will admit the actual bed is very good quality and I cannot understimate this My advice for this company is that be aware if something goes wrong then you will be annoyed an frustrated

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering from Sloomy. The bed I received was faulty and not fit for use. From the outset, resolving the issue was made unnecessarily difficult. Despite explaining that I am disabled, I was repeatedly asked to repackage and handle a large, broken bed using the original packaging, which was not a reasonable or accessible request. When I asked for communication by email as a reasonable adjustment, this was ignored. I was instead pushed into phone contact, and when I explained I record calls to help manage my disability, the representative refused to continue the conversation. At no point was a fair or practical resolution offered. The overall handling of this issue shows a complete lack of customer care and disregard for accessibility. This has been stressful, upsetting, and entirely avoidable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Appalling Service and are not interested in retaining customers and obviously do not want a business. Placed an order with a specified delivery date to be advised by message that they cannot deliver until a week later than this. No apology and not interested in resolving. Do not use this company
