Style

This bed style is a contemporary upholstered buttoned panel divan bed, combining subtle classic detailing with a clean, modern structure. The tall headboard features vertical padded panels with minimal button accents, adding soft texture and understated elegance without heavy tufting.

The fully upholstered divan base has a streamlined, boxy silhouette with integrated storage drawers for practicality. Supported by low chrome gliders, the design suits both modern and transitional bedroom interiors. 

Storage

Our Ottoman beds offer extensive under-bed storage, easily accessible by lifting the end of the bed to access all the space underneath. They all include a single end lifting mechanism with gas assisted struts to take the weight of the bed frame and mattress, so anyone can simply and easily lift the base of the bed with a light pull. Once raised, you can access the full space underneath, making the most of your bedroom storage, ideal if space is tight in your room or around your bed.

The under bed storage space is ideal for storing bedding, clothes, linen, and towels, as well as being perfect for hiding gifts and presents. Our ottoman bases fit seamlessly back onto the body of the bed, so don’t affect the design or style of our beds.

Our Highbury bed comes in 4 different fabrics, all with different styles and effects. Combined with the 20 colours we have available, there is a style for everyone through one of our many combinations. As all our beds are made to order, you can completely customise your beautiful bed perfectly before we start making it.

Customise your bed with any one of  Sloomy’s curated premium fabrics, including Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston and Dumfries. From timeless neutral shades to vivid colours that pop, we have a wide variety of colours to choose from so you can tailor your divan bed perfectly to your needs.

For added luxury, consider our velvet fabric options with a smooth, plush finish that reflect light beautifully, no matter the colour. Whatever fabric and colour options you choose, this bed will add modern contemporary appeal to any bedroom. Pair with mattresses and headboards to complete your set up.

Size

This modern and sleek bed is available in 6 sizes, all handmade to order from our UK factory based in West Yorkshire. It is available in the following sizes: 2ft6 Small Single 3ft Single, 4ft Small Double, 4ft6 in Double, 5ft King Size, 6ft Super King.

Headboard Design (26" Standard, 54" Upgrade)

Designed with vertical stitched panels with buttoned detailing that add height, texture and architectural interest, our 26 inch strutted headboard is included as standard with the Highbury Divan Bed. However if you want to opt for an even grander look, Our 54 inch floor standing headboard offers an even more striking look, improved comfort and enhanced support too.
